Introduction

I am Dr. Janice Eckmier, an emeritus professor of mathematics, living in Eagle, Idaho.  Throughout my career, I have always been supportive of community service and involved in meeting the needs of the local community.  Therefore, I am excited to write an  endorsement letter for Danielle Davis, a highly qualified candidate for Eagle City Council.

I have known Danielle for many years as a friend and fellow community member.  I am constantly impressed with Danielle’s commitment to excellence, her vision to analyze and address challenges, and her dedication to complete tasks with efficiency and common sense.  Her qualifications for City Council are many:  a leading team member in her CPA office, years of involvement with local HOA’s, and community volunteer and civic support activities

I urge you to vote for DANIELLE DAVIS in this election.  Danielle is acutely aware of the challenges facing our community.  She is a smart and effective problem-solver.  She is a perfect match for City Council – and Eagle needs her!  You will not be disappointed…she is a WINNER in every regard!

Danielle Davis is a smart and logical woman.

She exhibits amazing leadership skills – she listens, analyzes and finds solutions to challenging situations.  Her personality and character qualities add to her success in the business world as well as within her community.

I admire Danielle’s well-balanced platform.  A few of the most important foundations of her platform include:

(1)  Ensuring HOA’s protect community property without overreaching and educating residents on their rights

(2)  Promoting financial transparency, reducing legal risks, and ending political infighting

(3)  Keeping residents updated regularly, publishing priorities, and ensuring the completion of projects and contracts 

(4)  Balancing development with protecting resources, infrastructure, and community character

(5)  Embracing progress while preserving Eagle’s history, values, and neighborhoods

(6)  Supporting libraries, parks, and public, private, and homeschool options as centers for learning, connection, and recreation.

I am writing to endorse Danielle Davis for Eagle City Council. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Danielle during the past 3 years since moving here and I believe that she possesses the necessary qualifications and skills that would compliment the City of Eagle.

We share some professional and personal interests, and she has been very supportive when I needed an opinion within the business community. I believe she wants balance in growth and development for Eagle while maintaining the integrity of the City's historical values. Since I participate in some of the activities, it is good to know that she supports these services.

During the short time that I have been here, it is rewarding to have met Danielle and the attraction is the dedication and awareness of current issues and strong ability to solve problems.

I urge you to take the time to meet her during the campaign period and make your decision to vote for her as an Eagle Councilwoman.

But this election in Eagle this year is too important to remain silent.

There is only 1 candidate this year that stands out that I trust to give my vote to...Danielle Davis.

She's not a political person, she's not motivated by advancing herself in any kind of a political arena or trying to say the right things; she here as a concerned resident that wants to get involved and contribute to the city - that's it, that's where her ambitions lie.

I've seen some city council elections that have become super political. Danielle Davis isn't one of those people; she is a concerned citizen that isn't politically motivated, not aspiring to do anything different by trying to tell us things and do something totally different. She's here to listen to the people and make decisions based on what's best for the residents and the city.

More than any time in our history, we need that. I'm proud to live in the city, but I don't know that we've really had people in position that have tried to really get deep into the core of what we need to do to be able to make our city successful for future generations - and to help us presently.

She a problem solver, she's not a politician, she's a concerned citizen that's going to listen to the people, and bring real change to Eagle.
